Depth Enquiry is a process that uses the same evidence base of EMDR but is relational, can be somatic, and encourages deep experience. Depth Enquiry was developed for people with PTSD and trauma symptoms but is good for anything that feels “stuck.”
What you might experience
During the experience your mind is going to dance around, jumping from point to point and following connections that might surprise you. The process might be deeply emotional, it might be physical, it might hold a nothingness. This is all OK. Your mind knows exactly what it needs and this is the space to allow.
After the session, you might feel spaced out (or very present) and between sessions it’s not unusual to be feeling different emotions or noticing new behaviours. This is all good! It means that your mind has started processing and moving through what is stuck.
